Brad Pitt visits Angelina Jolie at Hospital; Twins weeks away
Brad Pitt visited partner Angelina Jolie at Lenval hospital in Nice, France, on Wednesday, July 02. Earlier in the day, Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told the press that the 'Wanted' star will give birth to her twins "in the weeks to come."


July 2, 2008 (Sawf News) - Brad Pitt visited partner Angelina Jolie at Lenval hospital in Nice, France, on Wednesday, July 02. Earlier in the day, Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told the press that the Wanted star will give birth to her twins "in the weeks to come."

Addressing a press conference to clear speculation that the twins had already arrived, Sussman explained that Jolie had checked into the hospital to be kept under a "simple watch to reassure the well-being of the babies"

"Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have asked me to tell you that she is very, very well actually."

Jolie will remain in the French Riviera hospital, where four rooms overlooking the Mediterranean have been set aside for her, till the twins arrive.

"There have been four rooms reserved for her and there are bodyguards to ensure her comfort and protect her from the press," Sussman said.

The good doctor did not divulge the expected date for arrival saying, "This is something you can't program, you never know for sure."

During the Cannes film festival in May, Dustin Hoffman told the press that Jolie is due on August 19.

Jolie herself said, "I have got a few months."
